IIMC has state-of-the-art Mortuary service by the Anatomy Department. Cadavers are kept in the mortuary, which are utilized for dissection. It has capacity of storing 10-15 cadavers. Dissection facilities are provided to all the students admitted into MBBS/ BDS programme in Dissection Hall of Anatomy Department. The students dissect the cadavers to explore Anatomy of human body. Students also have access to the prosecuted specimens of human body for learning Anatomy. A number of Anatomical sketches are painted in Dissection Hall to elaborate Anatomy.
